Vine to Wine Educational Tour (Fridays)  Have you ever wanted to know about grapes from vine to wine? Whether you're a novice or a connoisseur, this tour offers a unique insider's look into the world of wine. Let the experts-the growers, makers, and servers-share their expertise and passion with you.

Start your day in the vineyard, exploring the roots of viticulture. Spend time among the vines differentiating varietals, soils, irrigation and trellising. Then it's off to the tasting room to sample wines in your own set of distinctive Reidel glasses. Learn how the right glass enhances not only the taste, but the full sensory experience of wine tasting.

After a leisurely gourmet picnic lunch in a scenic winery setting ( view menu ), go behind the scenes at a working winery and learn the winemaker's craft. See all the steps that transform harvested grapes into the world's most historic and celebrated beverage. Sample straight from the barrel, then savor the finished product.

Your first stop begins at 11 a.m. and you are returned to your accommodations between 3 and 4 p.m. Available for groups of 2 or more Fridays only and for groups of 10 or more daily. Starting at just $117 per person includes transportation aboard a deluxe shuttle coach, all lessons, gourmet picnic lunch, all wine tasting fees, and a set of 4 Riedel glasses.

Wine and Dine Justin Tour (Daily)  Look who The Grapeline has partnered with now-Justin Winery's Restaurant, Deborah's Room! We've taken our exclusive Wine and Dine Tour to another level. It is still an evening of wine tasting and dinning, but now includes tasting at a Paso Robles winery, then a four-course dinner (view menu) paired with four Justin wines. The Grapeline's deluxe shuttle will pick you up at about 5 p.m. (the scheduled departure depends on where you're staying), and in no time you'll be sampling handcrafted varietals. Expect to return to your lodging by about 9:30 p.m. The Grapeline's Wine and Dine Justin tour is available Sunday-Thursday for a minimum of two guests, and for groups of any size seven days a week by special arrangement.

January 18, 2008, 6-10 p.m. - Robert Hall Winery Murder Mystery Dinner
Join Robert Hall Winery for an exciting evening of comedy, theatre, and mystery as guests try to solve the big question of "Who done it?" at the "wedding" of Antonio Caparone and Maria Salducci.  More.  $85 pp.  Make reservations through Robert Hall or call 805-239-1616.

February 14, 2008, 6-10 p.m. - Robert Hall Winery Murder Mystery Dinner

MARCH 16-18, 2007 - PASO ROBLES ZINFANDEL FESTIVAL
More than 90 wineries will host an array of special events throughout Paso Robles Wine Country during the Zinfandel Festival weekend. Winemaker dinners, food pairings, seminars, open houses and special tastings are just a few of the activities in store.   For a detailed list of events, check the Paso Robles Wine Alliance website.

MARCH 14 and 15, 2008, 7-10:30 P.M. - JAMES GANG WINE CLUB RECEPTION
Enjoy gourmet fare presented by over 20 local restaurants, chefs, and caterers, along with fabulous Zinfandels and reserve wines. Live music and dancing under the stars is all part of the festivities.  Admission is by pre-sale tickets only.
